Product Description

XHHW is an alphabetism or initialism which stands for "XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) High Heat-resistant Water-resistant." XHHW is a designation for a specific insulation material, temperature rating, and condition of use (suitable for wet locations) for electrical wire and cable.

Wires with XHHW insulation are commonly used in the alternating current (AC) electrical distribution systems of commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings and installations, usually at voltage levels (potential difference or electromotive force) ranging from 110-600 Volts. This type of insulation is used for both copper and aluminum conductors which are either solid or stranded, depending on size.

According to Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Standard 44, XHHW insulation is suitable for use in dry locations up to 90° C (194° F), or wet locations up to 75° C (167° F).

XHHW-2 insulation, which is similar to XHHW, is suitable for use in dry or wet locations up to 90° C (194° F).

Compact stranded 8000 Series aluminum alloy conductor. Insulation is an abrasion, moisture, heat and sunlight resistant black cross-linked polyethylene.
Cable can be installed without pulling lubricant.
CT rated available when requested on sizes 1/0 AWG and larger.

Q5: How could I get the Sample?

We are honored to offer you samples if we have it in stock, usually it is not free , but we will return it to your on first time mass order .but you need to pay the freight. If you have a courier account or forwarder in China, we can send it your courier to collect samples.

Q6: How long is the Delivery Time?

For Sample: 1-3 working days ; For small orders: 3-10 working days; For mass orders: 10-18 working days. It is better to communicate with us if you are interested to place an order. It depends on your order quantity.

Q7: What are your payment terms?

Our payment term is usually T/T 30% in advanced, the balance before picking up the goods or L/C at sight.
